A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Corporate Lawyer to join the growing Manchester office. Work will include a broad mix of corporate tasks such as M&A, corporate finance, equity capital markets, private equity, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory work. You will advise clients ranging from start-ups to substantial private companies and PLCs on various corporate issues and transactions, much of which will have an international aspect. Depending on experience, you will either support partners and other team members or work on your own matters largely unsupervised.

With 2PQE+, you will have a good background in transactional work and demonstrate an understanding of, and an interest in, business development. Given the responsibilities of this role, it is likely that you will have:

  • Good academics
  • Experience of transactional work
  • Evidence of understanding what is needed to help grow and develop a corporate practice
  • Willingness to initiate and participate in marketing and business development activities
