Contracts Manager/Paralegal - Construction - In House

THE ROLE

We have a new opportunity for an experienced contracts manager to join a growing and successful business to help manage the negotiation of architect\’s appointments and sub-consultant agreements.

The role will involve working closely with the business, insurers, and external advisers handling the following:

1. Liaising with PI insurers.
2. Reviewing Architects appointments, preparing risk assessments, identifying key issues within the T&Cs of the appointment, such as payment terms, copyright, etc.
3. Assisting the Project Delivery Lead in the process of negotiation appointment/insurance/risk.
4. Facilitating the internal start-up and interim project reviews.

THE CANDIDATE

You will ideally have a construction related qualification and/or a background in contract law, ideally with a knowledge of architect\’s or engineer\’s appointments.

You will have a sound understanding of construction-related professional services contracts, excellent organisational and communication skills.

Candidates with a construction/law degree would be of particular interest.
