An opportunity for a Principal Associate to join the firm's Legal 500 Tier 1-ranked Defendant Professional Indemnity team. With 8PQE+ you will predominantly support the Leeds team, but the team will also welcome applications from candidates located in Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham, with the flexibility to work from any of these offices in line with the firm's hybrid working policy. The team forms part of the national Insurance Disputes practice in a role which is predominantly professional indemnity focused. You will be acting for members of various professions but primarily lawyers (both solicitors and barristers), construction professionals, accountants and insurance brokers.

You’ll have a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation. Your experience will likely have been gained in private practice, ideally within a leading regional or City law firm, or alternatively, in-house with a major insurer or MGA. While prior exposure to the professional indemnity insurance market is advantageous, it is not essential.
