As a Visual Communication Design Intern, you will work with our expert design team on a variety of projects in and related to brand identity, across print, digital and interactive experiences. If you’re creative, motivated, and highly articulate you’ve come to the right place! We seek designers with skills and experience across a range of media who will bring self-initiative to projects and daily routine. You will require demonstrated experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma. Additional experience with motion and interaction design software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participating in conceptualization developing preliminary concepts into refined comprehensive design solutions
- Working on logo designs, visual systems, guidelines and presentations both individually and as part of a team
- Supporting the production and coordination of design audits
- Conducting background research on identity and creating mood boards for projects
- Bringing brand stories to life through print, digital interaction, animation and motion design
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent portfolio of work
- An understanding of how to apply basic design principles to creative work
- Proficiency in Arabic (reading/writing) with an understanding of Arabic typography and local cultural context for concept development is required
- Demonstrated creative ability across a range of static, dynamic and interactive media
- Strong technical abilities in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma
- Proficiency in digital design, including UX/UI principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and manage time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
