Take on medical leadership responsibility and establish a highly specialized center in London for lipedema surgery in an international context. As an experienced specialist in surgery (m/f/d) with entrepreneurial flair and an interest in specialization, you have the opportunity to help shape a medical center from the ground up, with the backing of a successful holding structure in Germany and access to a Europe-wide network of experts.
We are looking for a medical leader (m/f/d) who not only has surgical skills, but also strategic thinking and a passion for excellent patient care to build a pioneering center of excellence for lipedema surgery in the UK.
Your mission
- Medical site management and strategic development of a state-of-the-art private clinic in cooperation with the German parent company
- Overall responsibility for treatment quality, medical standards, and team structure at the site
- Development and implementation of a clinically and scientifically sound treatment pathway for lipedema patients
- Performing specialized procedures (liposuction, reconstructive measures) after structured training at our surgical home base in Munich
- Patient management throughout the entire treatment pathway outpatient and inpatient
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and continuous expansion of the medical network
- Representation of the location at conferences, through specialist publications and public relations work (including awareness-raising measures)
Your profile
- Recognition as a specialist in surgery (m/f/d) (e.g., general, visceral, or plastic surgery)
- Several years of surgical experience, ideally with an interest or previous experience in lipedema surgery
- Willingness to take on entrepreneurial responsibility and build a medical team
- Confidence in communicating with patients, colleagues, and cooperation partners
- Fluent language skills in English, German skills are desirable
- High degree of empathy, quality awareness, and commitment to continuous development
- Medical management of a new center with creative freedom and the backing of an established structure
