Working under the direction of our Lead Theatre Technician, you will be responsible forthe provision and maintenance of equipment in our performance spaces. You will:
- Provide technical support to students during rehearsals and productions
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace, equipment, and materials
- Supervise students working in the technical and production areas
- Support students in achieving their learning goals
- Act as Duty Technician during public performances
- Deputise, as and when required, for the Lead Theatre Technician
The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, and/or provenexperience in similar technical role with working knowledge of technical theatreprocesses including the use of a wide range of equipment and systems such asintelligent lighting control and programming, video, and counterweight flying.
