We are looking for part-time cleaners to join our morning cleaning team, supporting our teaching and performance activities. Training can be provided for applicants with limited experience.

Job Duties

  • Clean the allocated area according to work schedules.
  • Ensure work safety, following all instructions and complying with Health and Safety Regulations and COSHH.
  • Maintain personal safety, safety of colleagues, and all users of LIPA, including wearing protective clothing and using safety signs correctly.
  • Safeguard keys and personal belongings in the cleaned areas.
  • Follow instructions precisely regarding chemicals used.
  • Use equipment correctly, store it safely, and clean regularly.
  • Report maintenance or Health and Safety issues to the Head of Estates.
  • Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and users.
  • Be hardworking, reliable, and committed.
  • Obtain a satisfactory Standard DBS clearance.
  • Meet LIPA standards in cleaning and attendance.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be flexible with working hours for additional shifts.

In return, we offer a generous pension, 22 days holiday (pro rata), Christmas and bank holiday closures, and complimentary tickets to in-house productions. This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible.
