Our London office is recruiting for the role of Junior IT Support Specialist to join our IT team and support our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to grow. You will provide first-line user support, assist with day-to-day IT operations, and work with the wider International IT team on improvements and small projects. You will gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and develop your technical and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

  • First-line IT support to London office users, resolving common issues and escalating when needed.
  • Log, monitor and update support tickets through to resolution.
  • Set up and maintain user hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support routine tasks such as software updates, patching, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Assist with configuration changes and follow established processes to minimise disruption.
  • Support the IT team on small projects, system improvements and office technology upgrades.
  • Communicate clearly with users, especially during troubleshooting or when systems are being updated.
  • Assist with basic network, security, and system checks as directed by senior team members.
  • Help maintain accurate IT asset records and support stock management.
  • Liaise with suppliers when needed for repairs, replacements or deliveries.
  • Provide basic user training and guidance to help colleagues get the most out of IT tools and services.
  • Promote and follow Lionsgate’s IT policies and best practices to ensure secure and compliant system use.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in an IT support role (internship, placement, helpdesk, or similar), ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows and MacOS support.
  • Understanding of setting up and troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Teams or similar.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Good communication skills, both in person and in writing.
  • A practical, organised approach with willingness to take initiative.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage competing tasks.

Preferred Experience Exposure To: Training will also be provided where needed.
