Straight-line Group are hiring an experienced Quality Inspector in Kingswinford. Are you a detail-driven Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in pressure vessels? About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in pressure vessel fabrication and inspection. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the highest quality and safety standards across their manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections of pressure vessels and related components
- Verify compliance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section VIII and other applicable codes and standards
- Interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures (WPS), and inspection test plans (ITPs)
- Conduct dimensional inspections, visual weld inspections, and coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
- Ensure documentation and traceability requirements are met
- Liaise with third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies as required
