About Lions Sports Academy

At Lions Sports Academy, our mission is simple: "Helping children and young people realise their potential through sport." We deliver high-quality coaching, PE support, extra-curricular clubs, holiday programmes and sports development initiatives across schools throughout London and the South East. With ambitious growth plans to support over 50 schools during the 2026/27 academic year, we are looking for enthusiastic and reliable coaches to join our expanding team.

The Role

We are seeking passionate and professional sports coaches who can inspire young people and create positive sporting experiences. Opportunities are available across a range of settings, including:

  • Extra-curricular sports clubs
  • School sports provision
  • Holiday camps
  • Community sports programmes
  • Weekend coaching opportunities

Whether you're looking for a few hours each week, additional coaching work alongside your current role, or a full-time position within sport, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Enthusiastic and energetic in their delivery
  • Able to engage and motivate children of all abilities
  • Confident managing groups in school and community environments
  • Committed to creating safe, inclusive and enjoyable sessions
  • A strong communicator with a positive attitude
  • Experience coaching children and young people
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong safeguarding awareness
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable Qualifications

  • NGB Coaching Qualification(s)
  • Degree in Sport, PE or related discipline
  • First Aid Qualification
