Role Description
We are seeking a Performance Hockey Coach for a contract, on-site position based in Oxford. The role involves conducting ice hockey training sessions, guiding player development, and designing practice plans. You will collaborate with school teams to enhance individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and engaging training environment. Additional responsibilities include promoting teamwork, effective communication, and a strong work ethic among athletes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Ice Hockey and Hockey fundamentals, with a strong knowledge of the game
- Coaching and Training skills, with the ability to develop and execute training programs
- Strong Communication skills to engage with players, staff, and stakeholders effectively
- Proven experience in mentoring athletes and driving performance improvement
- Passion for youth development and fostering a supportive sports environment
- Relevant coaching certifications and/or qualifications are preferred
