Overview
Job title: Trust Lead Teacher of English. Reporting to: Director of Curriculum. Salary: L1 - 5. Hours: Full Time.
Teaching hours: 0.8 fte will be based at one of Lionheart trust secondary schools. This will be matched to the candidate\'s experience and skill and geographical preference where possible, but will reflect the needs of the trust. 0.2 fte will be provided to undertake a strategic role, developing leadership skills and undertaking improvement projects linked to their subject and based in the school that they teach in.
Responsibilities
- Lead English teaching and learning across the trust as assigned, including curriculum development and improvement projects.
- Teach at one of the Lionheart trust secondary schools (Coalville-based or South Derbyshire secondary school) as part of the initial placement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to raise attainment and examination outcomes.
- Undertake 0.2fte strategic work supporting leadership development within the English subject area.
