A respected public sector organisation is looking for an Applications/Solutions Architect to drive innovation and ensure IT solutions are optimised to support delivery of customer experience and services improvements. This is a hybrid role which requires three days a week on site in Kent based offices.
Your daily responsibilities will include designing and modifying solutions to solve company challenges as well as engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts on a frequent basis, listening to and acting upon customer feedback, and being actively involved in all business divisions. You will lead the applications team in the creation and support of solutions and be responsible for projects involving business applications, digital procedures, and ICT business transformation.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience of designing effective solutions across applications
- A solid background in application support
- Proven project team management
- A proven understanding of how systems are integrated and the ability to challenge suppliers if there’s a need to think differently
- Knowledge of structured project and IT service management methodologies such as Prince2, ITIL etc
- Stakeholder engagement
- Agile or Waterfall methodology
- Experience working within social housing in an IT capacity is highly desirable
