As part of our award-winning site team you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the building of new homes which are of the highest quality whilst providing exemplary customer service and ensuring safety is always paramount.
As an Assistant Site Manager you will be an integral part of the construction site team, the achievement of our construction targets and in maintaining our excellent track record of achieving 5* HBF status for 11 successive years.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Site Manager you will be an integral part of the construction site team, the achievement of our construction targets and in maintaining our excellent track record of achieving 5* HBF status for 11 successive years.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Maintaining a good understanding and proactive attitude towards Health and Safety Legislation in relation to Construction Sites.
- Develop a thorough understanding of quality requirements in relation to NHBC Standards as well as what is required at each stage of build to ensure NHBC Reportable Incidents are kept to a minimum.
- Support the Site Manager in liaising with our customers both Pre and Post Homes Sale, acting as a Lioncourt Homes Ambassador.
- Alongside the Site Manager, assist in building a positive team relationship across the whole of the site team and with our sub-contract partners.
- Alongside the Site Manager, build a seamless and proactive relationship with the site Sales Team in particular regarding program updates, health and safety, and Lioncourt Homes 5 Star Customer Satisfaction status.
- Develop an understanding of planning and programming site activities to assist the Site Manager.
- Assist the Site Manager in the supervision of our Sub-Contract trades and direct labour to galvanize an excellent team ethos where we can achieve the highest quality standards.
- Assist in material ordering and reconciliation, ensuring timely delivery of material requirements in line with build programs, ensuring sensible and manageable stock levels.
- Have a good understanding of construction drawings.
- Liaison with statutory bodies and our design team members.
- Develop an awareness of cost and the commercial implications of site-based decisions.
- Support and liaise with the other site and/or office-based colleagues including Area Build Managers, Commercial Surveyors, Design Co-Ordinator’s and Engineers.
