Home Manager Recruitment
The Lioncare Group is now looking to recruit three Home Managers to lead and manage our teams in our Children\'s Homes.
We are seeking the right candidates to take up the newly created role and position of Home Manager. For further details about the individual homes, please refer to the relevant pages on our website.
To be successful, you will have a minimum of 3 years\' experience working within a children\'s residential care setting, experience working with children who have experienced trauma, neglect, abuse or placement instability, experience supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs, and experience implementing care plans and behaviour support plans. You will be able to demonstrate experience in leadership and operational management, good knowledge of legislation and regulation, residential childcare practice, and workforce management.
You will have the necessary professional skills and personal attributes to be an effective leader and manager of a team of colleagues, and an integral member of the leadership team of the wider organisation.
Above all, you will prove you have genuine determination, dedication, passion and commitment to making a real and lasting difference to the lives of the children in our care.
You will hold the Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) (or equivalent recognised qualification such as The Lioncare Diploma/Level 3 Award in Therapeutic Childcare & Education), and you will have achieved or be working towards achieving or ready to undertake the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
You will ideally also have undertaken some learning and study in a relevant subject such as Child Development, Adolescents and Youth Studies, Psychology, Therapeutic Practice / Psychodynamic Theory, Understanding Trauma, and/or Group-work.
Prior knowledge, skills or experience in areas of leadership & management, safeguarding, Ofsted-regulated services, neurodiversity, and auditing and implementing service improvement plans would also be beneficial to this role as Home Manager. A current full and clean driving licence is desirable.
You should also have aspirations and ambition for becoming a Registered Manager.
Starting basic annual salary:
There is potential for progression to scale-point HM5 earning £35,687.00 (£17.16 p.h.).
