We are a fast-growing company specialising in Waste Management, Property Maintenance, and Site Services across Manchester and the North West. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Operative to join our team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a company van to collect and deliver materials, waste, and equipment across various sites.
- Assist with waste removal, property clearances, and site support as part of day-to-day operations.
- Ensure all goods and waste are loaded, transported, and unloaded safely, following company and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records, noting any discrepancies or site issues.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
- Communicate effectively with office staff, site teams, and customers to ensure smooth coordination of daily tasks.
- Support warehouse and yard duties when required, including heavy lifting, sorting materials, and general upkeep.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is essential.
- Experience in waste management, removals, logistics, or property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle physical work and heavy lifting in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid UK driving licence suitable for the vehicle type (no major endorsements).
