We are a small but well-established control panel manufacturing company, supplying bespoke control panels within the elevator industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Control Panel Builder / Wirer who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly and wiring of electrical control panels from schematics and technical drawings.
  • Panel layout, drilling, and mechanical assembly.
  • Installation of components including relays, PLCs, terminals, and switchgear.
  • Point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and termination.
  • Ensure all work meets industry standards and health & safety regulations according to company workshop manual.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in control panel building and wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Working to deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other duties:

  • Stock and delivery intake from our suppliers.
  • Part picking for controllers.
  • Cabinet preparation, final completion and packaging of control panels after test.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary (based on experience).
  • Stable, long-term employment.
  • Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (5 days to be taken for Christmas/New Year shutdown).
