We are a small but well-established control panel manufacturing company, supplying bespoke control panels within the elevator industry. We are looking to expand our team with both experienced and junior/trainee positions.
Experienced Control Panel Builder / Control Panel Wirer Key Responsibilities:
- Panel layout, drilling, and mechanical assembly
- Point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and termination
- Working to deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in control panel building and wiring
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
- Good understanding of industrial control components
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and reliable attitude
Junior or Trainee Control Panel Builder / Control Panel Wirer Key Responsibilities:
- Assisted panel layout, drilling, and mechanical assembly
- Assisted point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and termination
- Develop skills to complete a control panel from build to wire
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Developing practical skills within the industry
Junior or Trainee Requirements:
- Keen interest in electrical engineering
- Practical mindset and willingness to learn
- Good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided
Other duties:
- Stock and delivery intake from our suppliers
- Part picking for controllers
- Cabinet preparation, final completion and packaging of control panels after test
What We Offer:
- Experienced position up to £30k DOE, increased after 6 month probation period
- Trainee position £22k to £26k dependant on age and experience, increased after 6 month probation period
- Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (5 days to be taken for Christmas / New Year shutdown)
