From a small family venture, we’ve grown into a footwear destination. With two retail stores, a website and app that offers seamless shopping and a thriving (and growing) third party online presence, our mission is to become the ultimate haven for shoe lovers everywhere, in the wardrobes of every female nationwide… and beyond! As we ramp up our growth plans, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing to build out our Marketing efforts and drive our D2C e-commerce growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead and execute 360-degree marketing strategies across both paid and organic channels. This role will be responsible for building brand awareness, scaling digital performance, improving customer retention and be a key member of the leadership team during a pivotal period of expansion for the brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust marketing strategy to build awareness, drive market demand, increase sales, and improve customer retention.
  • Oversee the ideation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including segmentation, tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Develop go to market strategies that wow the customer and drive traffic to channels.
  • Develop a robust Marketing calendar that combines seasonally relevant storytelling, product launches, core and seasonal repeats and inventory clearance.
  • Ensure marketing activities align with overall business objectives and brand positioning.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Manage the marketing budget across Paid and Brand Marketing, analysing current spend and reallocating funds where necessary to maximise ROI.
  • Develop the business Marketing KPIs and foster a data driven team mindset from all team members.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, tracking key metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Make recommendations to the Commercial team on discount utilisation and sales campaigns to drive in-season sales and end of season clearance.
  • Foster a customer-first culture within the Marketing team that consistently focuses on driving innovation and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and lifetime value.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation.
  • Partner with customer service to ensure marketing strategies align to customer feedback and enhance the overall customer experience.

Digital & Brand Marketing

  • Oversee paid and organic marketing efforts, including Performance, SEO, CRM, social media, and Content Marketing – optimising for engagement and traffic.
  • Implement CRM journeys that engage and convert – combining brand storytelling with personalisation and automation strategies to improve customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Expand Linzi’s presence on all Social Media channels – ensuring cohesive paid and organic content strategies. Ensure the team stay abreast of social media trends that are relevant to the Linzi brand and customer.
  • Drive influencer marketing and partnerships that drive brand positioning and awareness.
  • Foster a test and learn mindset within the team, utilising creative content wins to drive paid marketing optimisation.
  • Ensure the Linzi web and app are optimised for Conversion Rate and time spent on app.
  • Oversee website content and campaigns – driving seasonal campaigns, and inventory management incentives.
  • Oversee website manager ensuring product performance, page view data and conversion rate are used to not only optimise performance but inform the team’s marketing efforts.
  • Expand and build on customer reward program to drive retention.
  • Develop strategies that ensure Linzi channels offer best in class incentives and experience to drive conversion rate and retention.
  • Build a small but lean team of high performing and strategic commercial marketers, to work alongside the existing Creative & Brand team.
  • Lead and manage the marketing team, ensuring a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Mentor and guide a team of young superstars to create the marketing leads of the future.
  • Encourage creativity and out of the box thinking from the team, while aligning to business strategic and revenue goals.
  • Foster a culture of creativity that is KPI driven and utilises data driven test and learn methodologies to drive success.
  • Encourage a transparent team-oriented culture, where the Head of Marketing is actively involved rather than just delegating.
  • Work closely with sales, e-commerce, and product teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Who You Are

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within fashion, retail, or e-commerce.
  • Strong experience in executing multi-channel marketing strategies, covering both performance and brand marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Performance Marketing methodologies and strategies is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, optimising marketing spend, and delivering measurable results.
  • Expertise in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, and other marketing performance platforms.
  • A great mentor with leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a small team in a collaborative environment.
  • A hands-on approach and a can-do attitude. Linzi is a highly collaborative environment. Leadership is expected to delegate but with a keen eye for the detail and the ability to steer and guide the teams in execution.
  • A strong understanding of the fashion/retail industry and social media trends is preferred with the ability to craft marketing strategies that align with Linzi’s brand aesthetic.
  • A social first thinker.
  • Experience with e-commerce platform Shopify Plus is a plus, understanding website performance metrics, and driving conversions on digital storefronts essential.
  • A strong passion for the fashion and footwear industry with a desire to build and grow geographies and sales channels.
