Pit Stop Cambridge is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician & WOF Inspector to join our new workshop. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for WOF checks, servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are operating safely, serviced well, repaired correctly and they leave happy knowing the work they received was honest, fair, and good value.
What you'll be doing:
- Completing WOF inspections
- Diagnose and repair faults on a variety of vehicles
- Carry out general servicing and maintenance tasks
- Source and collect parts and equipment if required
- Maintain detailed records of work completed
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients if required
- Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
- Help maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for:
- WOF certified
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to diagnose, problem-solve and repair faults
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Be a constructive and willing team member in a workplace seeking continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles and the ability to weld would be advantageous
- A valid full driver's licence and your own tools
