Role: Sustainability Lead

Location: UK and Europe

Join us in driving Linxon's sustainability journey! As the Sustainability Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our ambitious sustainability strategy across Europe, the UK, and eventually on a global scale.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and execution of the Linxon Sustainability Plan.
  • Identifying environmental and sustainability regulations within Europe and the UK. Managing the development and implementation of processes and procedures that will ensure Linxon maintains compliance against the legislative requirements.
  • Taking charge of CSRD compliance, focusing on our European portfolio initially, and expanding to global operations. This includes:
  • Leading external assurance for the Double Materiality Process.
  • Conducting gap analysis, assessing risks and opportunities, and creating detailed project plans to meet 2025 implementation targets.
  • Analyzing data to improve sustainability performance and reviewing existing policies to drive progress
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and meet deadlines.
  • Supporting the corporate reporting process, including Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the calculation of the GHG emissions inventory (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), and ensuring the associated assurance processes are completed efficiently.
  • Championing the application of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards such as the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) framework and the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
  • Establish yourself as the go-to expert on sustainability reporting, and leading training strategies to empower teams.
  • Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer & Head of Sustainability.
  • Full-time, permanent position, ideally based at Linxon’s office in Sweden or the UK.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced sustainability leader who’s ready to take charge of complex, impactful projects:

  • Expertise in EU and UK environmental and sustainability legislation.
  • Strong project management experience, with a track record of managing multi-stakeholder and complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (including TCFD) and pre-CSRD frameworks.
  • Knowledge and understanding of reporting standards such as IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive results, and implement large-scale initiatives.
  • Proactive, self-starter who thrives working autonomously and can deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Extensive experience in sustainability reporting across medium to large businesses.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to advise and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Highly IT literate with excellent written, numeracy, and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about environmental and sustainability issues, with a deep commitment to making an impact.
