As Portfolio Director, you will provide direction for Linxon’s major programmes in Scotland, overseeing planning, coordination, and execution. You will champion collaboration between cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and act as the principal representative to clients and key stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are met and relationships are strengthened. In addition, you will work closely with internal operations teams to facilitate seamless project execution, proactively addressing operational challenges and ensuring all project requirements are met efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Linxon programmes in Scotland, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, executive management, and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and programme outcomes.
  • Represent Linxon at senior stakeholder meetings, industry forums, and client engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal operations teams to identify and resolve project execution challenges, ensuring smooth delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
Experience Required:
  • Significant experience in senior portfolio or programme management roles within the electrical infrastructure sector, with proven expertise in high-voltage substations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong track record of successful delivery of complex programmes, ideally in a senior director capacity.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or equivalent senior qualification is highly desirable.
