Role Purpose

Support the design, build, and rollout of the company’s new IT infrastructure, ensuring a structured and secure migration of existing services and applications from the current ecosystem. Act as a key interface between the central IT function in Chennai and global business units, ensuring alignment, coordination, and business continuity throughout the transformation.

Key Accountabilities

  • IT Infrastructure Transformation
    • Support the design and implementation of the target IT infrastructure (cloud, network, workplace, and security layers)
    • Collaborate with the central IT team (Chennai) to deploy and configure infrastructure solutions
    • Contribute to the definition and enforcement of global IT standards, policies, and operating models
    • Ensure compliance with architecture guidelines, cybersecurity requirements, and internal governance
  • Application & Service Migration
    • Coordinate and support the migration of applications and IT services to the new infrastructure
    • Assist in migration planning, including cut-over strategy, testing, and rollback procedures
    • Validate service continuity and system performance during transition phases
    • Identify, track, and mitigate migration risks and dependencies
    • Support data integrity validation and post-migration stabilization activities
  • Global Coordination & Stakeholder Management
    • Act as the primary point of contact between the Chennai IT team and global offices
    • Facilitate communication, alignment, and issue resolution across multiple regions and time zones
    • Support local entities in understanding and adopting new IT solutions and processes
    • Gather business requirements and ensure proper translation into IT deliverables
  • Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
    • Support incident resolution and troubleshooting during and after migration phases
    • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify improvement areas
    • Contribute to documentation of systems, processes, and migration activities
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT service delivery and user experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in IT infrastructure, systems integration, or migration projects
  • Experience in cloud environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) and enterprise applications
  • Programming skills are a plus
  • Proven experience in multi-country / global IT environments

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (cloud, network, identity, workplace)
  • Knowledge of migration methodologies and project coordination practices
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a complex, international environment
