The Insurance Manager will lead the development and management of Linxon's global insurance programs, ensuring adequate and cost‑effective coverage aligned with our risk profile. The role partners closely with Finance, Legal and Project Management to support both corporate and project‑specific insurance needs. This role includes oversight of global insurance programmes, collaboration with senior stakeholders, advising on policy interpretation, claims, risk mitigation, and managing broker/insurer relationships. The position also includes core insurance processes such as risk assessment, developing insurance policies, record‑keeping, coordinating claims, ensuring compliance, and analysing insurance data, as widely defined in industry templates.

What You Will Do?

  • Insurance Program Management: Implement and manage Linxon's global corporate insurance programmes (property, liability, professional indemnity, cyber, project insurance such as construction all risks, environmental, etc.), ensuring comprehensive and cost‑effective coverage.
  • Risk Assessment & Advisory: Assess insurable risks across business units and projects; ensure policies align with Linxon's risk profile. Advise bid and project teams on project‑specific insurance requirements based on contractual and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement insurance policies and procedures needed for Linxon's newly internalized insurance function.
  • Claims & Data Management: Oversee the insurance claims process, from notification to resolution, ensuring timely handling. Analyse insurance and claims data, prepare reports, and drive lessons learned into improved risk‑mitigation approaches.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on insurance coverage, policy wording, claims, and emerging risks. Collaborate with Legal and Finance to ensure alignment of insurance strategy with corporate objectives.
  • Broker & Insurer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and insurers, leading negotiations to secure optimal terms.
  • Compliance & Governance: Maintain accurate insurance documentation and records; ensure adherence to internal governance and regulatory requirements. Support continuous improvement of insurance processes and systems.

Experience Required: Adequate years of experience in insurance management, underwriting, claims, or broking—ideally in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or professional services.

Other Qualifications: Strong knowledge of insurance lines relevant to EPC/project‑based businesses (PI, liability, cyber, construction/project insurance). Experience analysing insurance risks/data and preparing claims submissions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. Ability to work independently in a transitioning environment and help build a new in‑house capability.
