The Oracle Finance Business Analyst is responsible for the functional design, implementation, and support of new Oracle EBS functionality. You will work in partnership with business to understand and document their business processes, issues, challenges, and opportunities, acting as a consultant to business counterparts to improve the usage of existing system solutions. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days at the office in St. Ives, Peterborough, UK.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Oracle R12 Financials – Lead Oracle Financials solution design and implementation activities.
  • Support Day to Day Production issues, Month End Support, Integration Exp, Change Request and New Projects in future.
  • Document clear requirements, prepare functional design documents, monitor project progress, and test solutions prior to release to users for further user testing.
  • Research new functionality, troubleshoot problems and escalate into Service Requests as needed.
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

There will be a 5% travel required sometimes to France for a maximum of 2 weeks’ time whenever it is required. Your travel will be taken care of by Linx.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics.
  • English language spoken and written fluency required.
  • Extensive knowledge in Oracle Financial experience is required with at least 3 end to end Oracle ERP (full lifecycle implementation) Project Experience and should have worked on Support Projects in Manufacturing Industries.
  • Knowledge on Oracle Order to Cash and Procure to Pay Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of best practices in ERP usage and ability to bring a consultative approach to help the business solve issues and challenges.
  • Proven experience working with external ERP support partners to investigate, research, recommend and test patches, functionality, and processes.
  • Experience using SSIS, SSRS and Wand reports, APRO, OneStream, AI Automation Tools is desirable.
  • Technical skills, including administering SQL Server, writing PL/SQL queries, SQL queries and stored Procedures are desirable.
