Reporting to the Supplier Quality Manager, the QC Inspection Technician is responsible for:
- Incoming inspection of production parts and NPD ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and specifications.
- Utilising a range of techniques, tools, and equipment to perform evaluations, visual inspection of parts, measure dimensions, conduct tests, and compare results against predetermined standards.
- Collaborating with SQM team/production teams to rectify problems and make necessary adjustments to ensure that parts are compliant with quality requirements.
- Producing inspection reports for SQM.
- Calibration of inspection equipment – external.
- Working with Path Lab for defects analysis.
- Developing inspection plans for incoming parts.
- Inspection experience on vision and/or CMM equipment.
Experience working within a company producing electromechanical assemblies (preferred not essential) or industrial manufacturing is advantageous.
