As the Senior Area Sales Manager – East Midlands North, you will drive customer retention and equipment sales growth working closely with existing customers across a broad range of industries. No two days are the same.
We will provide you with in-depth training to learn our products and industry, enabling you to sell a range of Linx coding and marking equipment, including industrial small character inkjet, high‐resolution case printing and laser solutions. In addition to selling hardware, you will promote a variety of finance and service agreements. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates located near Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster or Lincoln.
Typical Responsibilities
- Business development and expansion of equipment sales by partnering with customers.
- Developing relationships at all levels, up to senior leadership.
- Planning and prioritising your own diary for both long‐term and short‐term projects.
- Managing sales activity through KPIs and using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com).
- Participating in regional and national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customer sites.
Essential Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to four days per week, including nights away from home when required.
- A proven track record in account management and evidence of sustained growth.
- Solution selling of capital equipment.
- Ability to take ownership over a broad portfolio of customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com, is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of solution selling into a manufacturing or production environment.
- An interest in technology.
- A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
