About the Role
The Oracle Finance Business Analyst is responsible for functional design, implementation, and support of new Oracle EBS functionality. The role involves partnering with business to understand and document processes, acting as a consultant to improve usage of existing system solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle R12 Financials solution design and implementation activities.
- Support day‑to‑day production issues, month‑end support, integration exports, change requests, and new projects.
- Document clear requirements, prepare functional design documents, monitor project progress, and test solutions prior to release.
- Research new functionality, troubleshoot problems, and raise service requests as needed.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Occasional travel (5% of time, up to 2 weeks) to France.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days at the office in St. Ives, Peterborough, UK.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Financials with at least 3 end‑to‑end Oracle ERP implementation projects and experience supporting manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles.
- Strong understanding of ERP best practices and consultative problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with external ERP support partners, patches, and functional testing.
- Desirable technical skills: SSIS, SSRS, Wand reports, APRO, OneStream, AI Automation Tools.
- Desirable database skills: SQL Server administration, PL/SQL, SQL queries, stored procedures.
- Desirable experience with MS Power BI, Oracle BI, OTBI, financial dashboards, data analytics and KPI reporting.
