As the Area Sales Manager - South East you will be responsible for driving customer retention and equipment sales growth while working closely with your existing customers across a broad range of industries. You could be talking to the CEO of a small batch microbrewery one day and discussing our technology at a dairy farm the next. No two days are the same.
Responsibilities
- Business development and expansion of our equipment sales through partnering with our customers.
- Developing relationships at all levels up to and including senior leadership.
- Planning and prioritising your own diary to work on both long‑term and short‑term projects.
- Managing sales activity through KPI’s and using our corporate CRM (SalesForce.com).
- Participate in regional/national trade shows and onsite equipment demonstrations at customers’ sites.
Essential Requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (including nights when required).
- A proven track record in Account Management and evidence of sustained growth.
- Solution selling of capital equipment.
- Ability to take ownership over a broad portfolio of customers.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of a CRM (preferably SFDC) would be advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of solution selling into a manufacturing or production environment.
- An interest in technology.
- A background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
