Design, build and scale the backend of a product, a company is using to disrupt and innovate within the telecommunications market.
You’ll come in and drive the team forward with your technical prowess with Python. When it comes to frameworks, you’re agnostic and are capable of switching between them, recognising the strengths of each and selecting the most appropriate one to solve the problem. The wider environment is heavy in Kafka with rabbitMQ and zeroMQ in play as well. Private cloud mixed with on prem and bare metal kubernetes.
Autonomy around technical decision making is yours, with the ability to grow into a lead engineering position. You’ll set strategy, drive architecture and ensure documentation is up to the standard that you set. The team will upskill from your knowledge, with your support and guidance paramount to the overall success of your colleagues.
The company themselves are cross functional so there are loads of opportunities to get stuck into challenges. As the company continues to grow, collaboration is imperative and therefore they get together at least 3 times a week in their central London office. This is a startup with ample opportunity to make a real difference and impact in a company utilising the future – with blockchain and stocks paid out in crypto.
This role offers a salary of £45,000 – 55,000 per annum and is based in the North West.
