The Mission: Securing and Scaling the GCP Data Ecosystem Operating at the intersection of data engineering and platform architecture. The core mission involves defining the overall architecture and technical standards for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis within Google Cloud Platform. This mandate requires leveraging deep expertise in core GCP services and Google BigQuery to ensure the entire platform is optimised for performance, scalability, and strict security requirements.
The Lead will be responsible for defining the governance structure, ensuring all designed solutions adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes championing the use of Infrastructure as Code and driving best practices for CI/CD pipelines and security across the entire GCP environment.
