CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an international law firm, currently seeking a Senior/Principal Associate to join their construction team on non-contentious matters. This role will be based in Central London.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with an array of clients on non-contentious matters
  • Promoting the continued success of delivering exceptional client services, advising on a mix of development and/or infrastructure projects, real estate and corporate acquisitions and disposals, property finance, and process plant contracts
  • Writing and administrating construction contracts (JCT, NEC), development agreements, process plant and associated documentation
  • Guiding clients through de-risking strategies and offering advice from scheme inception to project completion
  • Mentoring other members of the national team

PROFILE

  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Architecture, or Law, or similar relevant subject
  • Around 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in standard forms of construction contracts (JCT, NEC), development agreements, process plant, and associated documentation
  • Ideally have substantial experience working for end clients/developers, although contractor/supply side experience would be advantageous
  • Strong background in non-contentious work
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff
  • The right to live and work in the UK
