Operating within a complex environment, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Delivery Director to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major section of works within a nationally significant programme. THE ROLE

Reporting to Executive Leadership, the Delivery Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across a major portfolio of civil engineering works, ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of the programme. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery of large-scale infrastructure works within a complex joint venture environment
  • Providing executive leadership across multidisciplinary project teams
  • Driving programme performance across safety, quality, schedule, commercial and operational objectives
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships including clients, partners, regulators and supply chain organisations
  • Leading contractual and commercial strategy across major works packages
  • Building and developing high-performing delivery teams
  • Managing programme risk, governance and performance reporting
  • Supporting strategic planning and long-term programme objectives

PROFILE

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
  • Proven track record delivering major UK infrastructure projects valued in excess of £500M
  • Significant experience operating at Project Director, Delivery Director or Programme Director level
  • Previous experience working within a joint venture delivery environment is essential
  • Strong understanding of complex civil engineering and infrastructure delivery
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and commercial capability
  • Experience delivering within highly regulated, safety-critical environments
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models
  • Full right to live and work in the UK
