Linum Consult’s client is an international law firm, currently seeking a Principal Associate or Legal Director to join their Property Litigation team. This role will be based in Birmingham.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with high-profile clients across the retail, leisure, development, and public sectors, delivering strategic advice on a wide range of complex property disputes.
- Leading on significant matters, including landlord and tenant litigation, investment, and development-related disputes, and specialist areas.
- Managing key client relationships.
- Mentoring junior colleagues.
- Contributing to the team’s growth through business development and leadership.
PROFILE
- Degree qualification in a Legal or Commercial subject.
- Around 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in property litigation.
- Demonstrable history of supporting clients across all aspects of landlord and tenant litigation and real estate disputes, including break notices, dilapidations, forfeiture, land registration issues, lease renewals, possession claims, rent recovery, rights to light, service charge disputes, property-related insolvency, and/or restrictive covenants.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
- The right to live and work in the UK.
