Linton DMC is a Stockton-on-Tees contractor delivering a varied workload across the North East, Yorkshire and beyond.

Our projects include commercial change-of-use schemes, refurbishments and a growing programme of school and academy work.

That work covers safeguarding improvements, modular buildings, M&E packages and refurbishments, delivered both in term time and during the holidays.

Working away – please read before applying Most of our work is away from our Stockton base.

You will typically stay away during the week and return home at weekends.

Accommodation and subsistence are paid by the company on top of your salary.

Some projects are local to Teesside, but they are not the majority, so you must be comfortable working away regularly.

We are upfront about this because it won’t suit everyone.

For the right person, it is steady, permanent employment with travel, accommodation and subsistence properly covered.

The role We are looking for an experienced, qualified joiner with foreman or site-supervisory experience to run our projects day to day.

You will be the company’s senior representative on site.

You will be responsible for programme, workmanship, health and safety, site records, subcontractor coordination and the performance of the site team.

On smaller conversions and refurbishments, you will lead from the front, working on the tools while managing the site.

On larger projects with several subcontract packages, you may supervise full-time.

You will move between projects as workload requires, from a listed barn to a live school site, so you need to get to grips with a new job quickly and take control from day one.

This is a permanent role.

We want to invest in the right person through training, qualifications and progression as the business takes on larger and more complex work.
