Linsco are delighted to be working alongside our client, a well-established and growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join their Eastern Counties region
Our client predominantly operates within the residential groundworks sector, delivering roads, sewers, infrastructure, bulk earthworks and housing plot groundworks for a number of major housebuilders and developers across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to join a growing business, providing engineering support across multiple residential groundwork and infrastructure projects throughout the Northern Home Counties region.
The Role
- Carry out accurate setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, structures and associated infrastructure.
- Verify drawings, coordinates, levels and engineering information before works commence.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies within design information alongside technical and project teams.
- Independently check all setting out before releasing works to site teams.
- Undertake engineering validation checks throughout construction.
- Produce and maintain accurate engineering records, survey information and as-built data.
- Operate GPS, Total Stations and surveying equipment to a high standard.
- Ensure all surveying equipment is maintained, calibrated and stored correctly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, ensuring works are delivered safely and accurately.
- Liaise with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Foremen, Clients and Technical teams.
- Coordinate engineering requirements across multiple projects where required.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and support RAMS, permits and method statements where necessary. xgikmsk
