Salary: Up to 31,000 depending on skillset and experience

About the Role
Our client are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Operative, ideally with with a fabrication and welding background to join their growing team. This hands-on role involves supporting our site-based projects and carrying out essential installation and repair work as required. You\’ll be representing the company on customer sites, so professionalism, presentation, flexibility, and a proactive attitude are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site installations, general fabrication tasks, and on-site welding repairs as needed
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings with accuracy
- Ensure safe working practices at all times, especially if working at heights
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the site van and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members internally and site contacts
- Support additional tasks as required, including working outside standard hours
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card (essential)
- Fabrication/Welding Experience (preferable)
- IPAF or PASMA (preferable)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong work ethic
- Flexibility
- Good Communication Skills
