An established residential housebuilder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across new-build housing and mixed-tenure developments.

Role Responsibilities

  • Commercial management of residential developments from site start through to completion
  • Subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and order placement
  • Preparation and management of budgets, CVRs, and cost reports
  • Valuation of subcontractor applications and agreement of final accounts
  • Management of variations and cost control to protect project margins
  • Close collaboration with site, technical, and sales teams

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding or residential construction sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control and procurement
  • Ability to manage multiple live sites and work to tight budgets and programmes
  • Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
  • Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
