We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fire Stopper to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a modern, forward-thinking business that values the skills, dedication and expertise of its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out passive fire protection installations in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
- Complete fire stopping works to a high standard across a range of commercial and residential properties.
- Record completed works accurately, including photographic evidence where required.
- Identify and report fire safety issues and recommend remedial actions where necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant fire safety legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Maintain high levels of health and safety compliance at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in Fire Stopping (essential).
- Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and installation methods.
- Good understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- FIRAS Card (preferred).
- BM TRADA Certification (preferred).
