Finishing Foreman

Job Title: Finishing Foreman – New Build Timber Frame Housing Location: Nottingham Contract Type: Freelance Start Date: ASAP Linsco are currently seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a leading residential contractor on a new build timber frame housing development. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the final stages of construction, ensuring high-quality finishes and delivering homes to the expected standard, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and work with all finishing trades on-site (e.g. carpentry, painting, flooring, snagging, etc.) Use your own tools to complete snags to ensure the handover of plots Ensure all work is completed to specification and in line with quality standards Liaise with the Site Manager, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Report on progress, issues, and timelines to the project teamRequirements: Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on new build housing developments Previous work with timber frame construction highly desirable Strong knowledge of finishing trades and quality standards Excellent eye for detail and commitment to delivering a quality product Good communication and coordination skills SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred Own tools and transport If you are interested in this role, please apply with your cv.
