About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator with a number of years experience in roofing and cladding to join our growing team. You will be responsible for preparing competitive and precise cost estimates for a range of roofing and cladding projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for roofing and cladding projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
- Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and regulations
What we need:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the roofing and cladding industry
- Strong knowledge of materials, installation methods, and industry regulations
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
