About the Role:

As Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans for roofing and cladding systems, working closely with project managers, architects, and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

About the client:

We are delighted to be working alongside our client who are a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the roofing and cladding sector, known for delivering high-quality solutions on a range of commercial and industrial projects across the UK. With a strong pipeline of upcoming works, they are looking to strengthen our technical team with the addition of an experienced Draughtsman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed CAD drawings for roofing and cladding systems.
  • Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop workable design solutions.
  • Collaborate with design and project teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.
  • Attend design coordination meetings as required.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Assist with drawing revisions and document control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Draughtsman within the roofing or cladding sector is essential.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or other 3D modelling software is advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, including materials, detailing, and fixing methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
