We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy, office-based team in Cheadle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction alongside strong administrative support and coordination.
You will act as a key link between residents, internal teams, and external contractors, helping to ensure a smooth and professional customer experience from start to finish.
The Role- Act as the main point of contact for residents regarding upcoming works and service schedules
- Contact residents via phone and email to arrange and confirm appointments (no cold calling)
- Handle inbound calls and emails, resolving queries professionally at first point of contact
- Provide administrative support across multiple departments, including data entry, filing and document preparation
- Coordinate with site, logistics and maintenance teams to ensure schedules run smoothly
- Manage and escalate customer complaints or complex issues to the relevant department when required
- Previous experience in an office-based customer service or administration role (property or housing experience desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
- A customer-focused, proactive and empathetic approach to problem-solving
- Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends
- Office-based role in Cheadle
