An established residential housebuilder is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across new-build housing and mixed-tenure developments.
Role Responsibilities
- Commercial management of residential developments from site start through to completion
- Subcontract procurement, tender analysis, and order placement
- Preparation and management of budgets, CVRs, and cost reports
- Valuation of subcontractor applications and agreement of final accounts
- Management of variations and cost control to protect project margins
- Close collaboration with site, technical, and sales teams
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the housebuilding or residential construction sector
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control and procurement
- Ability to manage multiple live sites and work to tight budgets and programmes
- Confident communicator with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
