Project Manager Location: Addlestone, Surrey Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE) Job Type: Permanent full-time, site-based Additional: Car allowance or company vehicle About the Role Linsco are delighted to be supporting a well-established civil engineering and construction contractor based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong civils and groundworks background, who is comfortable managing complex construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong technical understanding of groundworks and structural construction, with experience across areas such as RC Frames, basements, utilities connections, drainage and associated infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from mobilisation through to completion. Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants throughout the project lifecycle. Plan and manage programmes, resources, materials and plant to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Oversee civils and groundworks packages including earthworks, drainage, utilities and reinforced concrete works. Coordinate RC frame and basement construction, ensuring works are delivered to the required specification and programme. Manage utility connections and liaise with statutory providers, consultants and relevant stakeholders. Monitor project progress, costs, quality and health & safety throughout the works. Lead regular progress meetings and provide clear updates to senior management and clients. Identify potential issues and implement effective solutions to keep projects on programme. Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. Maintain accurate project documentation, records and reporting. Work closely with the commercial and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery.About You Proven experience working as a Project Manager within civil engineering / construction. Strong practical experience across civils and groundworks. Previous experience with RC Frames, basements and reinforced concrete structures. Strong understanding of utilities, drainage, earthworks and infrastructure. Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple project stakeholders. Strong understanding of construction programmes, project planning and delivery. Commercially aware with the ability to monitor project costs and performance. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Relevant construction qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS. Civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
