Linsco are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a well-established and forward contractor delivering a range of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. Due to good growth prospects and a solid outlook on upcoming projects, they are looking to bolster their site teams with experienced Civils Site Managers in the Yorkshire and Midlands areas.
This is a key role on site, responsible for driving programme, safety and quality while leading site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day site operations on civils projects (earthworks, drainage, roads, structures, etc.)
- Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficient delivery
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintain high standards of HSEQ in line with company and client requirements
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams
- Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly
- Ensure all site documentation and permits are in place and up to date
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering
- Strong background in infrastructure / groundwork projects
- TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification
- AP (Appointed Person - Lifting Operations) certification desirable
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS (Black or Gold Card)
- First Aid at Work

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
