Linsco are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a well-established and forward contractor delivering a range of construction and civil engineering projects across the UK. Due to good growth prospects and a solid outlook on upcoming projects, they are looking to bolster their site teams with experienced Civils Site Managers in the Yorkshire and Midlands areas.

This is a key role on site, responsible for driving programme, safety and quality while leading site teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations on civils projects (earthworks, drainage, roads, structures, etc.)
  • Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficient delivery
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Maintain high standards of HSEQ in line with company and client requirements
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and internal teams
  • Monitor progress against programme and report accordingly
  • Ensure all site documentation and permits are in place and up to date
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering
  • Strong background in infrastructure / groundwork projects
  • TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) certification
  • AP (Appointed Person - Lifting Operations) certification desirable
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • CSCS (Black or Gold Card)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively
