We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a busy civil engineering/groundworks subcontractor on a project based in Northumberland. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term freelance/temporary contract, with additional phases of work expected on site, offering the potential for further extension beyond the initial 9 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising day-to-day site operations on a civils/groundworks package
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining health & safety standards on site
- Coordinating labour, materials, and plant to meet programme deadlines
- Liaising with site management and project teams
Requirements:
- SSSTS (essential)
- First Aid at Work (essential)
- Gold CSCS Card (essential)
- Previous experience supervising on civils/groundworks projects
- Ideally experience working for a groundworks subcontractor
