Site Manager – New Build Housing
Location: Haverfordwest Sector: Residential – New Build Housing Company: Leading Residential Contractor
Linsco are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a new build housing development for a well-established residential contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised construction professional to take full ownership of site delivery, ensuring homes are completed to high quality standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full life cycle of the construction programme from groundworks through to final handover.
- Coordinate and oversee all trades and subcontractors on-site to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality build.
- Liaise with the project team, including Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and client representatives.
- Drive progress against the programme, identifying and mitigating any delays or issues.
- Maintain rigorous standards of health & safety, delivering inductions and toolbox talks as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections and snagging, ensuring all work is completed to specification.
- Keep detailed site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and H&S documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build housing developments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive productivity on site.
- Excellent understanding of housebuilding processes, regulations, and standards.
- Able to manage multiple trades and work to tight deadlines.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certifications.
- Strong commitment to health & safety, quality, and team performance.
