We are seeking a skilled Customer Care Technician for one of our Housebuilding clients, to help maintain the quality, condition, and functionality of newly built homes across the Midlands. The role involves carrying out a wide range of repair and finishing tasks, including joinery, painting, plastering, filling, and other related duties.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional with strong attention to detail, able to work independently while following all relevant health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all outstanding repair and remedial tasks to a high standard, prioritising safety at all times
- Carry out work in line with current industry guidelines and relevant building standards
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Represent the organisation in a professional and customer-focused manner
- Monitor and maintain stock levels within the company vehicle
- Keep the work vehicle clean, well-maintained, and organised
- Previous experience as a maintenance or repair technician within construction, residential property, or similar fields
- Practical skills in joinery, plastering, painting, mastic work, filling, and general repairs
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent customer-service approach, with honesty and reliability
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining tidy work areas
- Confident using tools, equipment, and basic mobile technology
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
