Our client, a construction specialist in both design and build, are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in refurbishment works and new-build commercial projects. You will play a key role in preparing accurate tenders, developing cost plans, and supporting the delivery of successful projects across South Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.

  • Review tender documentation including drawings, specifications, and project details.
  • Tender for projects of varying values, from receipt of tender packages through to full bills of quantities.
  • Meet subcontractors on site to source labour, plant, and material rates while negotiating competitive quotations.
  • Work closely with project management, site teams, design staff, and procurement to ensure accurate and coordinated tender submissions.
  • Work primarily from the office in a supportive, collaborative team environment.

Background in refurbishment work and new-build commercial projects. Prior experience of working within refurbishment on NHS / hospital projects would be advantageous. Proficient with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Causeway software is advantageous but not essential. Full UK driving licence.
